our story
“We want the way we work and what we do in that work to reflect the world we want to live in.”
In 2018, Alesha Ignatius Brereton and Morgan J Curtis founded Collective Capacity Consulting (CCC) as a refuge for advocates like themselves to dream, conspire, and find balance. As long-time anti-violence advocates, Alesha and Morgan understood the toll of movement work on both personal and collective well-being. They believed in doing transformative work without sacrificing health and happiness — and they knew the way forward was through nurturing relationships. By fostering connections and building community, they envisioned a space where people could rely on support along the journey.
CCC now operates with three primary consultants and a vast network of peers and collaborators. Together, we work to support individuals and organizations seeking to create meaningful change in their communities.
